White Chapel Wedding by Mornington Peninsula wedding Photographer James Harvie Photography
White Chapel wedding
White Chapel Estate is spread across 4 acres of magnificently manicured gardens and is one Mornington Peninsula premier wedding venues.
What strikes me the most about White Chapel is how welcome Julie and her staff make you feel. They all really go that extra mile to make sure everything runs smoothly for you.
For wedding photography the gardens are purely stunning with an abundance of green and there are many props to give your day a real rustic feel. I particularly like the buildings.
The Chapel is gorgeous and very cute with an abundance of light making it a wedding photographers dream. The big group shot at White Chapel works well just out the front of the chapel or if the sun is in the wrong spot I usually photograph the guests along the side.
Parking is easy for all your guests off the highway and what is really nice about White Chapel for your wedding is it is hidden away and best of all everything is self contained.
There is also some wonderful pathways which work really well for stunning shots of the bride in her dress. I find using a really long zoom lens givesyou wonderful shallow depth of field. And I bet that gets you asking so what’s that do to my wedding images. Well my favourite lens is a long zoom as it helps give that beautiful blurred out back ground so the subject is super sharp.
The White Chapel reception area is really well presented and there is plenty of light. The staff I have mentioned are really helpful and even the photographer gets offered a drink ( non alcoholic of course ). The number of times my clients try to offer me a drink astounds me. Crooked photos are not my trait.
The weather during Claire and Glens wedding was just a typical Spring Mornington Peninsula Day. It was very chilly with bursts of sunshine. The great thing about this time of the year though is everything is just so green which means the gardens produces amazingly vibrant wedding images.
Glen likes his cars so we made a good point of providing some wonderful car shots. Whitechapel has a wonderful spot to line your wedding car up for wonderful pics. Hot Rod Heaven delivered the goods.
Once we hit the reception DJ Jamm events did an awesome job of pumping out the tunes and the funny thing is I actually photographed his wedding. Small world isn’t it?
And least we forget the stunning wedding cake brought to you by Shelley Rae cakes. Everyone love a yummy cake.
So when your looking for a self contained wedding venue with wonderful gardens, gorgeous cute chapel and stunning reception area I would definitely take a peek at Mornington Peninsula’s White Chapel.
