Tatra Receptions – James Harvie Photography
Photographing a wedding in the rain at the best of times is one tough feat. As a photographer you are having to juggle umbrella’s, wipe moisture from camera bodies and lenses and convince your client photographing in the rain is worth it. Although the wedding was in March ( usually a good time for your wedding) my client Sarah and Peter struck it rather unlucky. We had the ceremony in the stunning chapel at Tatra Receptions . Tatra Receptions Chapel for your wedding offers gorgeous soft light. In fact you will find many stunning wedding venues across Mt Dandenong and the Yarra valley. For your wedding reception Tatra Receptions provides a formal dinning experience hidden away in the mountains. Although I have photographed at Tatra Receptions many times usually I use the stunning gardens but for this wedding we decided to do something different. We branched out and decided to organise the wedding location shoot at Alfred Nicholas Memorial Gardens and I have to say if your looking for stunning Dandenong ranges wedding locations Alfred Nicholas Gardens does the trick. We were actually really lucky as once the rain lifted all the plants were left with an amazing crispness and then as the sun lowered in the sky I was presented with some gorgeous soft hues. In fact the light was gorgeous and I was like an excited young boy. I just wanted to keep shooting. The trees were towering above and this soft glow just presented. Hopefully you can see this in my sample images.
