Fairfield Boat House wedding with James Harvie Photography

Fairfield Boat House is a wonderful location for your Melbourne Wedding location shoot especially for that magical winter Melbourne wedding. It offers a large choice of perfect backdrops amongst the wonderful trees and pathways. A veil flowing in the wind can also just add that whimsical touch to your Fairfield wedding images.

The Brides home was set amongst a 100 years plus old home which added to that old worldly charm. There are times I find a location ( in this case the brides home ) where I wish I had 3 hours to photograph but like all weddings the time line is strict as there is much to cover.

The light is superb in the winter just so soft and welcoming for perfect Melbourne wedding Photography images. As dusk drew upon us we made our way to The Centre Ivanhoe where once again we were offered some perfect photography opportunities. In fact we were able to use a stage and the venue were so helpful allowing us to create some great lighting effects. It felt like something out of Great Gatsby.
