With its elegant water features, quaint bride and magnificent old Oak tree Poets lane has it all. I love to photograph my couples just towards dusk using the soft lights in the surrounding trees. There are also some gorgeous Lamps which are perfect for a wedding photography backdrop.

Poets lane also gives you the options of having your ceremony either indoor in the cute stain glass chapel or the outdoor garden gazebo setting.

So when is the best time to hold a wedding at Poets lane? Well you really can’t go wrong here as Poets lane is wonderful any season. With the shade of the trees you are delivered with perfect photography lighting. In the summer it can be cooler than other venues close to Melbourne. Personally I prefer late autumn when the trees show off their rich red and orange colours.
